For my final project, I focused on spring because I am glad
it is finally here and I don’t need to see snow, or wear boots and a jacket
everyday. I took most of my pictures for
the final at the Ramapo Reservation and in the front/ backyard of my
house. The scenery and color is what
drew me to taking the photographs. I
like the color especially in the flowers, because flowers in the spring are very
bright.
Doing the
project I encountered some challenges.
One challenge I faced was the brightness. At times the sun too bright, which inhibited
me from taking the picture, or it would distort the color of the picture. Another problem was the shadows. If I were standing to block the sun, it would
create a shadow over the object I was trying to photograph. Then when editing the pictures, I had to
correct the shadows and highlights to make the picture seem real. In all I
liked doing the project because I was able to take things I like, and to see
everything in bloom made the project seem better.
